Annual review and planning 2025/2026

For a few years now, at the end of the year, I have taken a moment to look back and look forward.

It should not be an hour-long exercise, but simple and quick.

My template for the annual review (there is no perfect form, so choose if you like).

  • Take a look at last year’s overview. (if you have one) I see a lot of it worked out, apparently the year review does๐Ÿ˜‰
  • Scroll through the weeks of the calendar. For me, that’s Google Calendar. With the shortcut key ‘n’ you quickly scroll through the weeks. In 5 minutes I am through it. Wow how much I have done and worked hard, I can thank myself for that.
  • Browse photos last year. For me, this can be seen in Google Photos. Sheesh what great moments and lots of fun trips in green. I do get a picture of what I want to do more of next year.
  • Goals from last year. Goals are not always for me, I believe more in routines. Still, a lot has worked out.

When the past year is clear you can look forward.

  • Goals next year. Goals provide a direction to develop routines. A beautiful credo I find is “set and forget.”
    • Expanding Habits at Work coaching
      • Launch new coaching service
    • The book The 4 Hour Workday
      • Expand sales channels
      • Write a new version
    • Building out the podcast The 4 Hour Workday
      • 1 x every two weeks an episode
    • Develop AI training with Time Win.com
    • Doing monthly updates

So as not to get too much into OCD mode, I’ll leave it at the business part this year. Personally, it’s also very short: keep up the good work ๐Ÿ˜
